Costs and Location

The importance of graduate education in our society continues to increase, but finding an affordable and convenient program can be difficult.  The M.A. on Capitol Hill programs in International Affairs (MAIA) and Congressional and Presidential Studies (CAPS) have been designed to offer world class education for students seeking Master’s degrees, and we make program convenience and cost effectiveness top priorities.

Study While Working:

All of our classes meet once a week and begin at 6:40 p.m. so our students do not have to choose between work and earning a Master’s degree.  All of our classes are offered at the Hall of States building near Capitol Hill (444 N. Capitol St., near Union Station).  To learn more about the location, please visit the Hall of States website at http://www.sso.org

Affordable Tuition:
Our tuition rates are some of the most reasonable in the D.C. metro area.  Many programs similar to ours charge up to $1,500 per credit per course.  For the 2016-2017 academic year, we charge $1,000 per credit or $3,000 per course.
